As a Brand Manager

As a Brand Manager, you'll lead the marketing strategy and growth, taking ownership of integrated campaigns, innovation, digital growth and product launches within a fast-growing category. Working cross-functionally with sales, digital, innovation and agency partners, you'll drive brand performance and deliver commercially impactful marketing programmes across the UK and international markets.

Description

Brand Strategy & Planning

  • Developing and delivering the brand strategy and annual marketing plans, ensuring all activity supports business objectives and maintains consistent brand positioning, messaging and tone of voice.

Trade Marketing & Retail Activation

  • Supporting the Commercial team with compelling trade presentations, category stories and retailer sell-in materials. Using shopper and category insight to optimise distribution, visibility and point-of-sale activity across key retail partners.

Integrated Campaign Management

  • Leading the planning and delivery of integrated campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels. Working with internal teams and external agencies to ensure activity is joined up, efficient and commercially effective.

Consumer Engagement & DTC Growth

  • Working closely with the Digital Lead to drive DTC growth through effective customer journeys, stronger consumer engagement and high-performing content. Using data and insight to identify winning content, optimise performance and improve conversion across digital channels.

Innovation & Product Development

  • Partnering with the Innovation team to identify opportunities for product extensions, new formats and breakthrough innovation that support the long-term growth.

Product Launches

  • Working with the Commercial and Innovation teams to develop and deliver impactful launch plans across the UK and international markets. Build awareness, engagement and retailer support through creative, commercially effective campaigns.

Budget Management

  • Managing the annual brand budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across channels and campaigns. Monitoring expenditure, evaluate return on investment and optimise spend to achieve business objectives.

Performance Analysis & Optimisation

  • Tracking brand performance using sales, market share, digital, brand health and retail metrics. Turning insight into practical recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness and business performance.

Consumer, Category & Competitor Insights

  • Working closely with Category, Insights and Research teams to identify market trends, evolving consumer needs and competitor activity. Use these insights to shape strategy, unlock growth opportunities and maintain a strong market position.

Profile

A successful Brand Manager should have:

  • A strong track record of delivering growth, preferably for consumer healthcare, medical device, OTC, wellness or personal care brands, including omnichannel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and sales.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, DTC growth and customer journey development. Experience working with digital specialists and using data to improve consumer acquisition, engagement and conversion.
  • Comfortable using analytics tools to track performance (e.g., EPOS, Google Analytics, Nielsen, continuous brand tracking data) and can adjust tactics based on what the data shows to optimise results.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams, brief agencies clearly and build string internal and external relationships.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working at pace, taking ownership and balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery.
  • Excellent attention to detail across planning, delivering and evaluation ensuring consistency in brand messaging, creative quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Good understanding of medical device, healthcare and cosmetic regulations and evidence-based claims, with the ability to translate regulatory and scientific requirements into clear, compelling and compliant brand consumer communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • Professional marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM certification) are desirable.
