Location: Gatwick
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional B2B Brand Manager to join the Nestlé Professional Food & Commercial team based in Gatwick. This role will report directly into the Senior Brand Manager for Savoury Food and will see you work on our exciting Savoury Food Brand MAGGI as we strive to deliver best in class marketing activities that support us to achieve our commercial objectives.

A little bit about us
Nestlé Professional (“NP”) is our Business-to-Business food service arm, which specialises in the Out of Home solutions market. NP operates successfully in an enormous marketplace and is an ambitious growth driver for Nestlé. The team’s aim is to inspire growth in our partners, by providing branded, creative solutions that help our customers develop their business, ultimately driving footfall and increasing their profit.

Marketing at Nestlé gives you experience of the full mix of disciplines, from generating brand strategy to executing annual plans, leading exciting innovation and renovation initiatives, creating engaging communications and working closely with our sales customer colleagues to engage our B2B customers. You’ll be working daily with cross-functional teams to make your plans come to life.
Your Impact
As a Brand Manager you will help define the strategy and build long-term plans for key parts of the MAGGI portfolio, leading key strategic projects, end to end. You will support the Senior Brand Manager to manage all elements of the marketing mix ensuring brand equities are maintained and accelerated to achieve great results.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Supporting the development of a clear brand strategy and long-term brand plans, ensuring all brand activities adhere to brand purpose & strategy.
- Delivering agreed sales & profit targets for the brands you support, working closely with our commercial teams.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of UK Foodservice including media, trade, competition and customer/audience behaviour. Closely monitoring to identify marketing issues and opportunities, & ensure plans are maintained and adapted in a constantly changing, competitive FMCG environment.
- Developing strong data analytical skills to generate shopper & consumer insight and turn our strategies into actionable and executable initiatives.
- Supporting the development and implementation of marketing activity across all areas of the marketing mix, working collaboratively with external agencies where needed on elements such as creative development, media planning, advertising, digital (including social media platforms), consumer promotions, PR, sampling and Customer activation, working with Customer Activation Manager.
- Constantly evaluating the effectiveness of marketing programmes & brand performance, adjusting plans in line with learnings.
- Working collaboratively with above-market, retail colleagues & broad cross-functional teams identify & deliver a strong innovation, and best in class product renovation, pipeline to drive growth.
- Collaborate internally with e-Business functions to ensure competitive advantage for MAGGI in the digital environment.
- Support the team in the delivery and development of key initiatives on the Savoury Food sustainability roadmap.
- Coordinate and supervise all packaging artwork changes and communication with print managers.
- Leading careful brand budget management of the PFME budgets.

Ingredients to make you successful?
To be successful in this role, you will either have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt whilst being very commercially astute.
You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brands, you will have strong project management and analytical skills whilst being a conscientious team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential elements for this role. You’ll also:
- Have the ability to influence at senior levels both internally and externally, locally & above market.
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders.
- Be able to run sizable projects and work streams from concept to delivery.
- Have prior knowledge of running multi-pronged communications programmes.
- Be able to demonstrate your experience of leading new product launches.
