Brand Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading FMCG business and take ownership of a well-established, much-loved Irish food brand.
This is a high-profile brand with strong consumer awareness and a long heritage, and the opportunity now is to reinvigorate and modernise the brand for its next phase of growth.
Working closely with commercial, category, innovation and agency teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping brand strategy and bringing it to life across packaging, innovation, digital, social and consumer communications.
The Role
- Develop and execute annual and long-term brand strategies aligned to commercial objectives.
- Use consumer, shopper and market insight to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead brand planning, budgeting and performance reviews.
- Manage NPD and EPD projects, including the three-year innovation pipeline.
- Develop business cases, forecasts and post-launch reviews.
- Lead integrated brand campaigns across digital, social and shopper marketing.
- Manage agency relationships and ensure high-quality delivery within budget.
- Lead packaging development and artwork approval.
- Oversee brand content and digital/social activity.
- Work closely with sales and category teams on retailer presentations, range reviews and joint business planning.
- Monitor sales, competitor, pricing and promotional performance to identify opportunities.
- Manage marketing investment and optimise return on marketing investment.
- Prepare regular brand performance updates for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager position within FMCG, ideally food.
- Degree in Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of the Irish grocery and retail landscape and shopper behaviour.
- Experience working with external agencies.
- Comfortable working with consumer, market and sales data.
- Strong strategic and commercial thinking, with the ability to turn insight into action.
- Experience developing brands across packaging, communications and digital channels.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Curious, proactive and commercially minded, with a genuine appetite for fresh thinking and new ideas.

Location: Northern Ireland | Hybrid
The role is based at the company's Northern Ireland site, with hybrid flexibility depending on where you are based. Some additional travel will be required.
