Brand & Content Manager

📍 London | Central London base + out and about across the city
đź’° Up to ÂŁ40,000
🥑 Challenger Food & Wellness
📱 Content | Culture | Social | Activations | Community

We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands what makes a brand interesting.

I’m working confidentially with an exciting founder led challenger food business looking for a seriously creative marketer to join its growing team.

They want someone who lives and breathes brands, content and culture. Someone who notices the new café everyone suddenly seems to be visiting. Who understands why one TikTok works and another feels painfully forced. Who spots creators, formats, conversations and trends early. And most importantly, someone who can take an idea and actually make it happen. This is a brilliant opportunity for a creative marketer with challenger brand experience who wants the freedom to experiment, create and have a visible impact on brands with ambitious growth plans.

What will you actually do?

A bit of everything!

  • One day you might be brainstorming ideas with the marketing team.
  • The next you could be filming content around London, visiting cafĂ©s, meeting customers, running a sampling activation or bringing a collaboration to life.
  • You’ll create content for TikTok and Instagram, develop activations, work with creators and partners, support launches and find interesting ways to put the brands into conversations that matter.

You'll have the freedom to come into the business and say: “I’ve got an idea…” And if it's good, you'll be encouraged to go and make it happen.

You'll get involved in:

  • Creating original short form content across TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms
  • Developing creative concepts that people genuinely want to watch and share
  • Getting out across London to film and capture spontaneous content
  • Spotting emerging food, wellness, social and cultural trends
  • Creating pop ups, sampling campaigns, events and real world brand activations
  • Developing collaborations with cafĂ©s, creators, founders, wellness businesses and other interesting partners
  • Coming up with unconventional ideas and creative stunts that get the brands noticed
  • Building communities around the brands
  • Supporting product launches, shoots and campaigns
  • Working alongside Sales to identify interesting commercial and partnership opportunities
  • Looking at what's working, learning quickly and making the next idea even better

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be trusted to take projects from the initial spark through to execution.

Who are we looking for?

Challenger brand experience matters.

  • You'll have at least two years' relevant marketing experience and have worked directly within a challenger food, drink, wellness, lifestyle or closely related consumer brand.
  • You understand the energy, resourcefulness and pace required to build a brand without enormous advertising budgets or endless agency support.
  • Beyond that, we're looking for someone with genuine creative instinct.
  • You're naturally curious about brands and culture.
  • You spend far too much time on TikTok and Instagram, but can legitimately claim it's research.
  • You know what's getting attention right now and have good judgement about which trends a brand should actually touch.
  • You're comfortable picking up a phone and filming.
  • You're happy appearing in content when it makes sense.
  • You can approach someone you've never met and start a conversation.
  • You're interested in London's food, cafĂ©, wellness and cultural scene.
  • You have opinions about which brands are doing brilliant work.
  • And you've got examples of things you've personally created, launched or made happen.

Creative ideas are only half the job.

  • You'll also need to deliver them.

We're looking for someone proactive, organised and dependable enough to take an idea from: “Wouldn't it be cool if…”
to
“It's happening next Thursday.”

You'll have plenty of freedom, but you'll also be trusted to manage your own projects, follow through on commitments and work collaboratively with the wider team. The original brief describes the ideal person as both an “ideas person and a doer”, with the confidence and independence to execute without being constantly chased.

Why this could be a brilliant career move

  • You'll have real creative ownership.
  • You'll work closely with a small, ambitious marketing team.
  • You'll be encouraged to experiment.
  • You'll spend time where consumers actually are.
  • You'll be able to see your ideas come to life quickly.
  • And you'll have the opportunity to help shape the personality and cultural relevance of two growing challenger brands.

For someone who eventually wants to become a Brand Manager, Creative Lead, Head of Brand or Marketing Director within the challenger FMCG world, there's a huge amount of experience to be gained here.

Interested?

We're much more interested in what you've made happen than receiving the world's most polished CV.

So alongside your application, we'd love to see examples of your work.

  • Content you've created.
  • Activations you've delivered.
  • Brands you've helped grow.
  • Ideas you're proud of.
  • And if you've got a slightly ridiculous marketing idea you've always wanted a brand to be brave enough to try, we'd probably like to hear that too.

If you're currently working for a challenger brand and reading this thinking “this sounds like my kind of job”, apply or message me directly.

All conversations will be treated confidentially.
