About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Brand Manager to join a successful FMCG business and take ownership of a key consumer brand within its portfolio.

This is a commercially focused role with responsibility for brand strategy, marketing plans, innovation and NPD, project delivery, and elements of the brand P&L.

You will work closely with Sales, NPD, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance, as well as external agencies and customers, to deliver ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement brand and marketing plans to drive growth.
  • Monitor consumer, market and competitor trends and identify opportunities.
  • Lead the innovation and NPD pipeline from concept through to launch.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across the business.
  • Work with Sales and customers to support retailer sell-in.
  • Manage external agency relationships and deliver effective marketing activity.
  • Monitor marketing budgets and brand P&L performance.
  • Use market and consumer data, including Kantar, IRI and EPOS, to inform decisions.
  • Support delivery of NSV, EBITDA and wider commercial objectives.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years’ Brand Management/Marketing experience within FMCG.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Experience of brand planning, NPD and/or project management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to influence, challenge and make recommendations.
  • A proactive, resilient and self-starting approach.
  • A genuine passion for brands, consumers and delivering growth.

A degree at 2:1 or above is preferred, with Marketing/Business or CIM qualifications advantageous.

Location & Travel

This is a home-based role with hybrid working, but the successful candidate must be based in or around Cambridgeshire.

The role also requires weekly travel to London for meetings with colleagues, agencies and other stakeholders. Business travel expenses will be paid.

There will also be occasional UK travel and overnight stays where required.
