Please note: This is a 4 day / week role, working Monday - Thursdays, however full time applicants will also be considered.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a hands-on, experienced and highly organised Brand Manager. Reporting into the Marketing Director, and working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead the implementation of Dalston’s brand plans, execute exceptional brand-aligned activations and campaigns end-to-end, manage product launches and drive real brand growth.
- Own the brand strategy execution day-to-day, building and managing the annual brand marketing and activation calendar so Dalston's core DNA runs through every touchpoint.
- Partner with stakeholders across retail, digital, sales and wholesale to ensure campaigns are joined-up
- Manage Dalston’s brand communications, ensuring campaigns are amplified via social channels
- Partner with design and photography agencies/freelancers to deliver best-in-class creative
- Maintain brand and trade marketing toolkits, acting as brand guardian across all consumer, trade and shopper marketing material
- Develop sell-in stories and brand assets for customers
- Identify, evaluate and secure strategic partnerships and sponsorships that align with the brand and deliver commercial value
- Deliver impactful brand events and activations that build awareness and engagement
- Support the NPD/EPD & Innovation pipeline, researching consumer and category trends, working with stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities, briefing, packaging and launch plans
- Manage brand marketing budgets and evaluate campaign performance
- Analyse market trends, consumer insight and competitor activity to spot opportunities and keep the brand proposition ahead of the competition

ABOUT YOU
- Brand management experience in an FMCG environment - ideally food and drinks
- A genuine brand guardian, you have a sharp aesthetic eye and an instinct for what looks and feels "on brand," and you protect that consistency across every touchpoint
- A proven track record dreaming up hard-hitting campaigns and activations, and then executing them to perfection
- Creative and entrepreneurial, you spot opportunities and bring fresh thinking, but you're just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done in a small team
- Exceptional attention to detail and high personal ownership
- Strong consumer and technical writing skills, comfortable briefing creative, copy and packaging as well as writing sell-in stories for customers
- Confident using data and consumer insight to shape decisions and report performance clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience across NPD/EPD launch processes is a strong plus: from brief to packaging to go-to-market
- Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once, and comfortable with the pace of a fast-growing, hands-on business

WHAT’S ON OFFER
- £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
- 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday
- Hybrid, flexible working environment: 2 office days each each week: 1 office day in Bedford and 1 office day in London (Farringdon). The ability to work flexibly when required for face-to-face meetings and planning sessions.
- Free travel to Bedford

- Work Abroad: Up to 4 weeks per year work from anywhere
