Your new role
As Brand Manager within the Private Obesity Business Unit, you will translate brand strategy into insight-led marketing initiatives that build awareness, drive customer engagement, and support business objectives. This role combines the rigour of pharmaceutical brand management with the creativity and pace of consumer marketing, offering the opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare and digital innovation.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Developing and executing insight-driven marketing campaigns grounded in customer understanding and market insight, ensuring activities are relevant, measurable, and compliant.
- Localising global campaigns and creating UK-specific materials aligned to brand positioning, ABPI requirements, and Novo Nordisk policies.
- Managing agency partnerships from briefing through to delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Monitoring campaign performance through agreed KPIs, customer feedback, and market data to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Supporting annual and in-year brand planning, including objectives, tactical plans, and measures of success.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of obesity, the healthcare environment, customer needs, and market developments to inform strategy.
- Working collaboratively with customer-facing teams to ensure effective implementation of approved materials and campaigns.

Within International Operations, the UK Private Obesity Business Unit is helping shape the future of obesity care through innovative, customer-focused approaches. Operating in a fast-moving and highly regulated environment, the team combines pharmaceutical expertise with modern marketing capabilities to deliver meaningful engagement across the healthcare ecosystem.
You will work alongside passionate colleagues across Commercial, Medical, Compliance, Legal, Customer Engagement, and external partners, contributing to initiatives that support Novo Nordisk's ambition to address one of the world's most significant healthcare challenges.
Your Skills & Qualifications
We're looking for a Brand Manager who brings strong marketing expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for improving health outcomes in a highly regulated environment. You'll bring with you:
- Significant experience in marketing, brand management, or product management, ideally gained within healthcare, consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, wellness, digital health, or other regulated sectors.
- Proven experience developing and delivering insight-led marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with the ability to engage target audiences, build awareness, and deliver measurable business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting customer insights, market trends, customer journeys, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy and optimize campaign performance.
- Experience working with external agencies and cross-functional stakeholders, managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across various functions.
- Strong organizational, budget management, and project management capabilities, combined with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- A degree or equivalent experience is preferred. We are looking for someone with a strong growth mindset who is naturally curious, resilient, and able to learn quickly, adapting confidently in a dynamic and highly regulated environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally as required (valid UK driving license and passport required).
