Job Title: Home and Hygiene Lead

Location: Kingston

ROLE PURPOSE

Cif and Domestos are iconic brands within Unilever UKI’s Home & Hygiene portfolio. This role helps both brands win through sharper portfolio choices, stronger execution, and a more social-first communication model.

The Brand Manager will own the P&L of Cif and Domestos across portfolio, innovation, and communication, turning strategy into standout in-market delivery. A key part of the remit is helping accelerate both brands into a social-first model, using platform-native content and cultural trends to keep them distinctive and relevant. Banking on the success of Cleanipedia, showing the scale of the opportunity to build stronger advocacy, reach, and relevance across the portfolio.

YOUR MISSION

  • Grow Cif and Domestos P&L through core and premium segments
  • Bring the social-first demand engine to life
  • Win on shelf through brilliant in-store execution across core and premium segments.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Own the Brand & Portfolio strategy: Growth – Help develop brand plans for Cif and Domestos, identifying portfolio, pack, proposition, and pricing opportunities that unlock growth.
  • Build Social-First Brands – Support the strategy and briefing of content systems built for attention, participation, and shareability from the start.
  • Own the budget and prioritizations to drive growth through media and execution investments. Balancing the P&L to deliver growth.
  • Accelerate Cleanipedia – Help build connected content ecosystems rooted in product truth, demonstration, and superiority.
  • Track Performance – Monitor business and campaign results to sharpen plans, improve execution, and meet targets.
  • Deliver Brilliant Execution – Work cross-functionally to ensure plans are connected, well-managed, and delivered strongly in market.
  • Bring Curiosity and Pace – Spot opportunities, test new ideas, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Partner with Sales and CSP to shape channel strategy, expand distribution, and drive promotional and shopper excellence.

Direct reports

  • Accountability for 2 x Assistant Brand Managers

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience in brand, category, digital, shopper marketing, or another commercial discipline within FMCG or a fast-moving consumer environment.
  • Strong marketing fundamentals, commercial curiosity, and the ability to turn insight into action are essential.
  • Previous line manager experience is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, digitally fluent, and highly organized, with curiosity for culture, creators, and modern brand building.
  • Experience in social media, influencer marketing, content, or campaign delivery would be a strong advantage.
