Brand Manager – Category-Defining Subscription Business 🧡
Propel is partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing subscription businesses, private equity-backed, and scaling hard.
The category is one most people don't think about until they need it, keeping older and vulnerable loved ones safe, giving families real peace of mind. It's a support business run as a proper D2C subscription brand, and it's gearing up for that next stage: a full brand refresh, a new product line, and a serious investment in national awareness are all landing this year.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning delivery of a live brand refresh, from strategy through to full roll-out
- Digging into the website customer journey, spotting friction and running tests to lift conversion
- Keeping every piece of comms, across every channel, consistent and on brand
- Helping launch the business into new channels, including paid and organic social, with door drop and TV advertising on the roadmap
- Managing project and design budgets, and acting as the go-to for brand delivery challenges
- Working alongside an in-house team and a strong agency roster to get things landed, this is a directing role, not a doing-everything-solo one

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for:
- Experience as a Brand Manager or similar, ideally somewhere D2C, subscription or fast-moving
- A genuine track record of delivering brand campaigns across multiple channels
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, digital, CRM and customer teams
- Sharp instincts for tone of voice and what actually lands with an audience
- The kind of person who spots what's not working and just fixes it, rather than waiting to be asked
- Genuinely ambitious, someone who wants to grow into a bigger brand role as the business scales
This will suit you if:
- You get real satisfaction from spotting what's broken and sorting it yourself
- You want visibility and real influence, not a seat several layers down
- You're genuinely energised by a brand with obvious untapped potential
- You want a business that will actually invest in you as it grows

This probably isn't for you if:
- You're looking for a narrow, single-channel specialism
- You'd rather work inside an established playbook than help build the next one
- You need a bigger team around you for support day to day
- Being closely visible to senior leadership feels like pressure rather than opportunity
Practical details:
- Location: Norwich, hybrid
- Salary: up to £50,000, dependent on experience
- Strong wider package: private medical cover, matched pension, enhanced holiday
