Brand Manager

Location: Newry (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Brand Manager to join a leading food manufacturer with ambitious growth plans across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
This is a commercially focused role where you'll take ownership of an established branded portfolio, driving brand strategy, innovation and marketing activity to increase brand awareness, customer engagement and commercial performance.
Working closely with Commercial, NPD, Operations and external agencies, you'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of the brand while delivering measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver annual brand strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Drive brand awareness, customer engagement and market penetration across multiple markets.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across packaging, digital, in-store and marketing communications.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring strong return on investment.
  • Monitor brand performance and provide regular commercial reporting, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with NPD and Operations to support successful product launches and innovation projects.
  • Support packaging development, ensuring products stand out on shelf while meeting compliance requirements.
  • Lead consumer research, market analysis and product validation activities.
  • Develop engaging marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR and in-store channels.
  • Manage external marketing and creative agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of brand plans.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious Brand Manager who combines creative thinking with strong commercial awareness and has a passion for building successful consumer brands.
You will ideally have:

  • 3–5 years' experience in Brand Management within an FMCG environment.
  • Experience within food, chilled or food-to-go categories.
  • A proven track record of delivering successful brand growth initiatives.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and measuring ROI.
  • Experience working with external agencies and managing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn consumer and market insights into action.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Desirable experience includes:

  • Knowledge of NI, ROI and UK retail or convenience markets.
  • Experience working with short shelf-life or fast-moving consumer products.
  • A CIM qualification or degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
  • Exposure to product innovation and NPD processes.
