Monkey Shoulder Brand Manager
Monkey Shoulder is one of the most exciting and culturally relevant brands in spirits, helping redefine how modern consumers engage with Scotch whisky. As Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering bold, culturally-led brand experiences that drive commercial growth and build brand equity across the UK.
Working closely with Global Brand Teams and internal cross-functional stakeholders, you will support the development and execution of annual and multi-year brand plans, bringing global strategy to life through locally relevant activations, partnerships and campaigns. From our pioneering creative partnership with Fred Again, to fashion, music, and cultural collaborations, you'll help ensure Monkey Shoulder remains at the forefront of culture while accelerating growth in both the on-trade and off-trade.
This is a fast-paced, highly visible role that combines strategic thinking with exceptional execution, requiring strong agency management, stakeholder engagement and a genuine passion for understanding consumers and the venues, bartenders and partners shaping modern whisky culture.

Main Responsibilities
- Support the development of annual brand plans and longer-term growth initiatives for Monkey Shoulder.
- Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns and experiences.
- Play a key role in maximising the UK cultural relevance, consumer engagement and commercial impact of Monkey Shoulder's multi-year creative partnership with Fred Again.
- Manage culturally relevant brand partnerships across music, fashion, lifestyle and hospitality.
- Partner closely with Customer Marketing, Commercial and On-Trade teams to deliver programmes that accelerate brand growth in the on-trade.
- Spend regular time in trade, building relationships and gathering insights from customers, bartenders and key opinion formers. Occasional travel across the UK will be required.
- Manage and inspire a portfolio of agency partners, with particular focus on experiential and PR agencies.
- Confidently represent the brand with customers, agency partners and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Insights & Connections team to identify emerging consumer, cultural and category trends.
- Build strong relationships with Global Brand Teams to ensure local activity complements international priorities and shares best practice across markets.
- Continuously monitor brand and category performance, identifying opportunities to optimise plans and drive stronger commercial results.
- Champion best-in-class execution, measurement and continuous improvement across all marketing investment and activity.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Commercially-minded marketer with a creative streak and challenger mindset.
- Experience in FMCG, drinks or a similarly fast-paced consumer category.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with brilliant execution.
- Enjoy getting out into trade, understanding what drives advocacy, and building strong relationships with customers, consumers and partners.
- Confident communicator who can present with impact, influence stakeholders and manage agency partners.
- Energised by the pace, ambition and cultural relevance of one of the brands changing the landscape of modern whisky drinking.
