Job Title: Brand Manager
Division: Primary Care UK
Location: Telford (hybrid opportunities available post probation)
Who we are:
Primary Care UK – consists of Williams Medical (https://www.wms.co.uk/) with revenues of c.£60M and SP Services (https://www.spservices.co.uk/) with revenues of c.£10M. Both specialise in providing a wide range of medical, healthcare products and equipment to healthcare professionals and organisations. Primary Care UK employs approximately 200 people across two purpose-built facilities, one in Telford, West Midlands England and one in Rhymney, South Wales.
What we are looking for:
SP Services, a leading provider of medical, emergency, and first aid products, is seeking a Brand Manager to develop and execute brand strategies that drive growth, awareness, and customer engagement. As a key player in the UK Primary Care Group within Vital Healthcare, the Brand Manager will oversee branding, market positioning, and promotional campaigns, customer insights, brand guidelines and ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Development: Define and execute a comprehensive brand strategy to strengthen SP Services’ market position within the primary care sector.
- Marketing Campaigns: Plan and implement targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all channels (digital, social media, print, and events). As part of owning and managing a rolling 12-month marketing calendar.
- Product Positioning: Develop product positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with Trauma / Healthcare professionals and procurement teams.
- Market Research & Insights: Analyse industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales category, and regulatory teams to ensure brand and campaign alignment.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all branding efforts align with corporate guidelines and enhance brand equity, including developing the SP brand guidelines.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and manage customer retention and engagement strategies through digital and offline channels.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse key brand performance metrics to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
- Budget Management: Oversee brand marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaign execution.
- Group Collaboration: Building relationships and leverage synergies across the wider Primary Care Marketing community.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Brand Awareness: Increase in brand recognition and positive brand perception within the primary care sector – Trustpilot and NPS.
- Customer Engagement: Growth in website traffic, social media engagement and email marketing conversion rates.
- Sales Impact: Contribution of brand marketing activities to lead generation and revenue growth.
- Campaign Performance: Measurable success of marketing campaigns (e.g., ROI, click-through rates, conversion rates).
- Market Share Growth: Increase in market penetration and competitive positioning within primary care and emergency response markets.
- Customer Satisfaction: Positive feedback from customer surveys and engagement metrics.
- Compliance & Brand Integrity: Adherence to regulatory requirements and brand consistency across all platforms.
- Innovation & Initiative: Introduction of new brand strategies and marketing approaches that drive growth.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or substantial suitable experience
- Proven experience in brand management, preferably within the healthcare, medical, or primary care sector.
- Strong understanding of branding, marketing strategies, and digital engagement.
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and working with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory considerations in healthcare marketing is a plus.
