Brand Manager, The Real Flower Company and LORE
Location: our flower farm near Alresford, Hampshire, with regular days at our London shops and events
Salary: £33,000 to 38,000 depending on experience
Hours: full-time, permanent
Start: January 2027
About us
The Real Flower Company was started in 1995 by Rosebie Morton in a walled garden on our family farm in Hampshire, because she was fed up that the trade had bred the scent out of roses so they would last longer in a bucket. We now grow around 500 varieties of scented roses, flowers and foliage, and the farm is carbon negative.
We sell online, through our two London shops in Fulham and Hampstead Heath, at the London farmers' markets and Covent Garden, and through partnership customers including Selfridges, and we look after corporate and client flowers for some well known businesses. LORE is our seasonal flower subscription, which launched in 2026 and sends a box of cut stems each month, picked at the rhythm of the season.
We are a team of around 20, which means you will see the difference your work makes very quickly.
The role
We are looking for a Brand Manager to look after everywhere The Real Flower Company and LORE appear visually, from the website and emails to social media, events, brand partnerships and the shops.
This is a hands-on role for someone who shoots and edits their own work. You will be out in the fields at first light, in our London shops and at partner venues, and you will turn what we do into photography, film and social content that people want to look at. You will report to our Managing Director, who sets the strategy with you, and you will work closely with our sales team, our florists and our digital agency, who run our paid ads, email automation and website build.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
