Brand Manager – SCLC Oncology
12 Month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract

The UK OBU IO Lung team is seeking a strategic, driven, and collaborative Brand Manager focused on Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) to play a key role in our IO portfolio. You will work cross-functionally to develop data- and insight-driven, prioritised brand strategies and deliver innovative operational plans that achieve business and patient outcomes. With SCLC spanning multiple indications across different points in the treatment pathway, you will support establishing AZ’s IO portfolio in this space - managing multiple indications, identifying synergies and driving launch readiness - while bringing the cross-functional team on the journey. Accountabilities:
- Development of localised brand plans for pre-launch and in-market indications, as well as the innovative tactical delivery
- Use insights to drive tactical ideation to deliver engaging, compliant tactics across channels
- Manage the asset approval and compliance process with cross-functional partners
- Engage externally with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers
- Use insights and performance data to optimise impact of tactical execution

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Degree qualified
- Significant pharmaceutical commercial experience with a strong performance track record
- Proven experience successfully launching pharmaceutical products
- Creative multichannel marketing capabilities together with rigorous commercial business sense
- Oncology experience
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Strong knowledge of the UK market and the NHS environment
- Lung oncology experience
- Experience working in an alliance
- ABPI signatory status
