Brand Manager (Direct-to-Consumer Subscription Marketing)
Location: Hybrid Norwich City Centre
About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Brand Manager to join a fast-growing organisation operating within the health, safety, and well-being sector. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a consumer-focused subscription proposition, driving brand growth, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Working at the intersection of brand, digital marketing, and commercial performance, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how consumers discover, engage with, and remain loyal to our services. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategies that fuel sustainable growth across direct-to-consumer channels.
This role would suit someone with strong experience in subscription-based businesses, D2C marketing, customer lifecycle management, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand and marketing strategies to drive subscription growth and market share.
- Lead customer acquisition campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Optimise the end-to-end customer journey, from awareness and consideration through to conversion, retention, and advocacy.
- Monitor and improve key metrics including customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rate, churn, retention, and lifetime value (LTV).
- Work closely with digital, product, sales, and customer experience teams to ensure a seamless and compelling customer proposition.
- Manage agency relationships, creative development, and campaign delivery.
- Use customer insights, market research, and performance data to inform marketing strategy and investment decisions.
- Identify opportunities for product and proposition enhancement based on customer needs and market trends.
- Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Manage marketing budgets and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
