Role Description
We’re looking for an ambitious and creative Brand Marketing Manager to help tell our story and grow the reach of our brands across the UK and around the world. You’ll lead the development of inspiring brand campaigns, shape our content strategy, oversee organic marketing activity across social media, email, and PR, and work closely with our creative team to produce engaging content that resonates with educators, learners, and industry professionals.
This is a role for someone who enjoys combining creativity with commercial thinking. You’ll collaborate across the business, manage our Marketing & Communications Coordinator, work alongside specialist SEO and creative partners, and use insight and data to continually improve performance. Most importantly, you’ll play a key role in helping more people discover the opportunities that RSL creates through music, performing arts, and creative learning. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy
- Conceptualise, plan, and execute multi-channel creative brand campaigns that build equity, strengthen market positioning, and drive top-of-funnel awareness across key customer audiences.
Organic Distribution
- Design and manage the organic distribution strategy across social media channels, email newsletters, public relations activity, and community engagement initiatives to maximize brand reach and audience engagement.
Content Calendar Ownership
- Build and maintain the global marketing content calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities and a consistent brand voice across all customer-facing touchpoints.
Creative Asset Collaboration
- Partner with the Senior Graphic Designer and Videographer to develop visually distinctive, high-impact creative assets that support campaign objectives and reinforce brand identity.
SEO Content Alignment
- Work closely with the Freelance SEO Consultant to incorporate keyword research, search intent insights, and SEO best practices into content planning and campaign development, improving visibility and organic performance.
Performance Analysis
- Analyse campaign, content, and channel performance data to evaluate effectiveness, optimise audience targeting, and refine creative messaging to improve engagement and results.
Budget Supervision
- Monitor and manage brand and organic marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and marketing activity delivers maximum return on investment (ROI).
Brand Management
- Act as a guardian of the organisation’s brand identity, ensuring consistency of messaging, visual standards, and tone of voice across all markets, channels, and customer interactions.

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Product, Business Development, Customer Services, Education, and International teams to support business objectives, product launches, events, and strategic initiatives through effective marketing activity.
Market Insight and Audience Engagement
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights within the music, performing arts, and education sectors to identify opportunities for brand growth, engagement, and innovation.
Team Management
- Manage, mentor, and allocate work to the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, ensuring day-to-day marketing activities are delivered efficiently and distribution deadlines are consistently met.
Key Skills and Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in brand marketing, campaign management, or content marketing.
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong understanding of social media, email marketing, and content marketing strategies.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Experience managing editorial or content calendars.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into action.
- Experience working collaboratively with designers, content creators, and wider stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience within education, music, performing arts, or creative industries.
- Knowledge of qualification, publishing, or membership-based organisations.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
- Experience managing external agencies or freelancers.
