Role Overview & Objectives
Department - Marketing
Reports to - Head of Brand Marketing
Location - Manchester
Focus - Menswear-led, brand-wide
Role Purpose
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, who sets the overarching brand strategy, this role is the driver and executor of that strategy in the form of a Marketing plan with the support of the channel leads. They will be responsible for brand activation and creative delivery for the womenswear side of the business, across mainline fashion and activewear, while contributing to the wider Couture Club brand.
The focus is cultural relevance and audience growth at key campaign moments: translating brand strategy into channel-ready plan across social, email, paid, press, events, and ecommerce, and building the talent, press, and community relationships that carry it.
It is equal parts creative thinker and operator - someone who takes the strategy, builds the plan that delivers it, briefs it properly across every channel lead, and reports back on what it delivered.
What the Role Owns
Channel Planning & Delivery
- Translate the brand strategy set by the Head of Brand Marketing into a full channel plan and support driving its execution end to end.
- Coordinate the channel team to deliver joined-up campaign activation across social, email, paid, press, talent, events, and ecommerce, so every channel tells one consistent story.
- Maintain the marketing calendar as the single source of truth, updating it as priorities move.
- Sequence the channel plan around launches and key moments and hold the business to the agreed rollout.
Brand Activation & Creative Direction
- Execute brand marketing activity that drives awareness and brand noise through a global market approach.
- Act as a creative thinker, always on what’s next, and presenting those ideas back to the Head of Brand Marketing and wider stakeholders with rationale and expected outcome.
- Make brand noise through guerrilla marketing and out-of-the-box thinking, not just paid-for reach.
- Drive brand communication and build brand equity through consistent execution of all communication, internal and external.
- Deliver internal brand collateral, how we present ourselves inside the business matters as much as how we present ourselves outside it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
