Brand Marketing Manager | Mission-Led D2C Scale-Up 🧡

How do you market a product nobody really wants to need? Your customer probably isn't thinking about this category until something happens. Maybe Mum has had a fall. Dad's getting older but fiercely values his independence. Perhaps they live miles away, and the constant "Are they okay?" is starting to sit permanently in the back of their mind. What they're really looking for isn't a product. It's reassurance. Independence. Peace of mind.

Propel is partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed UK business helping older and vulnerable people live safely and independently, while giving the people who love them one less thing to worry about. And now, they want to build a brand that reflects just how important that is.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Brand Manager who wants more than maintaining an established playbook. There's a live brand refresh to land, a new product line coming to market and significant investment going into national brand awareness. You'll have the opportunity to genuinely shape what this brand becomes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Taking a live brand refresh from strategy through to full roll-out
  • Getting properly under the skin of the customer: what they're worried about, what reassures them and what ultimately makes them act
  • Looking critically at the website journey, finding friction and testing ways to improve conversion
  • Making sure every customer touchpoint feels consistent, recognisable and unmistakably on brand
  • Taking the brand into new channels, including paid and organic social, with door drop and TV advertising on the roadmap
  • Managing project and design budgets and becoming the go-to person for getting brilliant brand work out into the world
  • Working with an established in-house team and strong agency roster, so your job is to set the direction and make things happen, not do everything yourself

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why this one is interesting:

  • Because there's something meaningful to build.
  • The foundations are there. The investment is there. The customer need is very real. But there's still huge untapped potential in how the brand shows up, how it talks about what it does and how many people know it exists.
  • You'll have visibility, influence and the freedom to challenge things. You'll work closely with senior leadership, have excellent agency support around you and join at the point where brand is becoming a serious growth priority for the business.
  • And importantly, you'll be marketing something that makes a tangible difference to people's lives.

Practical details:

  • 📍 Norwich, hybrid
  • 💵 Up to £50,000, dependent on experience
  • Plus private medical cover, matched pension and enhanced holiday.

If you've ever looked at a brand and thought, "there's so much more we could do with this", this might be the one. Especially if you like the idea of building a brand people remember before the moment they really need it!
