Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to join our talented Marketing team.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of brand growth by executing best-in-class marketing plans, driving innovation projects, and managing day-to-day brand activity. This role will play a key part in delivering consumer-focused initiatives, supporting product development, and ensuring strong in-market execution across the Princes portfolio.
This role is based in office four days a week (Mon-Thurs) and one day working from home (Friday). The successful candidate is required to travel to our Leeds office twice per month.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Strategy
- Support the development and execution of brand growth strategies aligned to overall business objectives
- Assist in the creation and delivery of consumer communication plans, including briefing and managing agencies
- Manage day-to-day brand activity, including campaign execution and performance tracking
- Analyse market data, consumer insights, and campaign effectiveness to identify opportunities and improvements
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
Innovation, NPD & EPD
- Support the end-to-end delivery of NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Existing Product Development) projects
- Work cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet commercial objectives
- Assist in identifying innovation opportunities based on consumer trends and category insights
- Coordinate packaging development with internal teams and external partners (design agencies, repro, printers)
- Support product quality and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with technical and quality teams

Brand & Portfolio Management
- Take ownership of selected brands or segments within the Princes portfolio
- Monitor brand performance and recommend actions to drive growth
- Support portfolio optimisation through analysis of sales, margin, and consumer trends
- Contribute to wider brand planning and team initiatives
Financial & Performance Management
- Support delivery of key KPIs including revenue, market share, and profitability targets
- Assist in managing the brand marketing budget and tracking spend
- Analyse and report on brand performance, identifying risks and opportunities
- Provide regular updates and insights to internal stakeholders
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Support the delivery of customer-facing initiatives and presentations where required
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular updates to line manager on key projects and performance
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal meetings
- Maintain strong communication across all relevant team
Role Requirements
Key Characteristics
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn and develop
- Previous experience in a marketing or brand role (typically 1–3 years)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Commercially aware with an analytical mindset
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Good presentation skills
- Strong IT skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel)

Experience
- FMCG or consumer goods experience preferred
- Experience working on NPD or campaign execution
- Exposure to agency management and cross-functional working
