BRAND MARKETING MANAGER – THE OUTNET
12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
The Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Brand Marketing Manager who will lead the planning and execution of cross functional Brand Marketing, PR and Communications for THE OUTNET. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, ecommerce, content and creative, and is responsible for how we bring the brand to life, how we show up to customers and how we’re discovered across external platforms. The role reports into the Head of Brand Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the marketing calendar, using data and insights to determine campaign timings, seasonal themes and key marketable moments to engage customers throughout the year
- Lead campaign briefing and planning end-to-end, driving brand awareness, supporting commercial performance and delivering customer targets
- Bring campaigns to life strategically across multiple channels, finding new and innovative ways to reach customers
- Translate customer, industry and channel insights into clear and actionable briefs to drive impactful marketing communications that cut through in each channel
- Collaborate with the commercial, site and buying teams to create synergy between brand activity and trading objectives
- Work with the Head of Brand Marketing and Head of Performance to deliver channel optimised assets for paid media, supporting the sharing and implementation of creative insights and learnings within the wider team
- Lead contact for external PR agency, building strong relationships to maximise value creation, creating and providing feedback on alignment with brand marketing objectives
- Oversee the delivery of briefing information to the agency to feed coverage and deliver execution of annual PR strategy
- Collaborate with Affiliates Manager and PR agency to ensure affiliates and PR activity work hand in hand to deliver overall marketing objectives
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring our brand comes to life clearly across all internal and external touch points

The Type of Person We Are Looking For:
Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in a brand marketing or communications role, with experience in fashion, luxury and/or retail highly desirable
- Experience working across a broad range of marketing channels with strong working knowledge of how each channel operates
- Experience managing external agencies, ensuring successful delivery of objectives and KPIs
- Understanding of creative best practice across digital media channels (Meta and Google core, other channels a plus) and able to translate creative media requirements into actionable briefs
- Experience optimising creative output to deliver channel and business goals

- Able to drive work forward pro-actively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience managing in house and agency teams simultaneously a plus
- Creative thinker who is able to translate functional business and channel requirements into clear communication strategies
- Collaborative approach to teamwork, happy to get involved in a small team and work collectively to deliver shared goals
- Experience navigating ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to changes with the support of the wider team
- Customer focused and able to see content and communications through the lens of different segments to inform decision making
