Role Description
The Brand & Motion Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. In this position, you will:
- Create and refine motion-based brand assets, including animated logos, brand films, social content, and explainer videos, ensuring visual consistency across platforms.
- Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and copywriters to develop concepts, translate brand strategies into engaging motion narratives, and produce storyboards that clearly communicate ideas to clients and internal teams.
- Design motion graphics, animate key campaign elements, prepare assets for video production, and optimize content for digital channels.
- Participate in client presentations, contribute to creative workshops, and stay informed about emerging motion design trends and tools.

Qualifications

- Ability to create high-quality Motion Design and Motion Graphics that support and enhance brand identity.
- Experience with Animation and Storyboarding to translate concepts and scripts into compelling visual narratives.
- Skills in Video Production, including editing and preparing assets for a range of digital and social formats.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and motion tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and similar software).
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand-led motion work, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Understanding of digital channels, aspect ratios, and best practices for delivering motion content across web, social, and experiential platforms.
- Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in motion design, graphic design, animation, or a related field.
