Brand Marketing Manager - Fashion - Influencer Marketing Agency
Up to £35,000 DOE
Central Manchester
Our client is a talent management agency built around the creator economy. They represent and grow the careers of creators, models and talent, and they partner with brands to make work that actually lands.
They are a team of around twenty across talent management, scouting and social — alongside their sister brands. They have grown quickly on the strength of their work and their relationships.
The Role
This is a leadership role. You'll own the agencies brand presence end to end — the positioning, the tone of voice, the content, the PR, the events — and you'll do it through a team of three to four across social, content and creative.
Your job is to set the direction, brief it clearly and hold the quality bar. You'll still get your hands dirty on the things that matter most — the big campaign concept, the tone-of-voice work, a launch that has to be perfect — but the day-to-day making sits with your team.
You'll report to the Managing Director and work closely with the founders, with real ownership from day one and a lot of room to shape the role around your strengths. This is deliberately not a performance marketing job — they are not asking you to optimise ad spend but asking you to build brand equity, and to make the agency the name people think of first in the creator economy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
-
Manage and Develop a Team
- Manage and develop a team of three to four across social, content and creative — setting priorities, running the workflow and growing them.
- Write the briefs. Give clear, useful feedback and hold a high bar on everything that goes out.
- Build the team's capability as we grow, and shape who we hire next.
-
Brand and Positioning
- Shape and evolve brand strategy, positioning and story — and keep it consistent everywhere it appears.
- Define and hold our tone of voice across all communications, from decks and pitches to captions and email.
- Ensure every client, creator and candidate touchpoint feels like the same brand.
-
Content and Channels
- Set brand direction across social, website and marketing collateral, and steer the team's output to match it.
- Build and run a brand content calendar that keeps the agency visible and interesting between campaigns.
- Develop and deliver brand campaigns that raise our profile with brands, creators and the wider industry.
-
PR and Partnership
- Own their PR strategy, working with external PR partners to land quality coverage, awards entries and speaking opportunities.
- Build relationships with brands, creators, press and industry partners that put agency in the right conversations.

- Events and Activations
- Own launches, networking evenings, industry activations and creator events — concept, delivery and the run sheet on the night, with your team executing.
- Represent agency at industry events and use them to grow our network and profile.
Experience
- 2–3+ years in brand marketing, PR, communications or brand strategy — agency or in-house.
- A background in fashion, lifestyle, beauty, luxury, entertainment or agency environments, or a genuine feel for those worlds.
- Experience managing or mentoring others — a small team, juniors, freelancers or agencies. You'll be leading three to four people here.
- Strong writing. You can find a brand's voice and hold it across long copy and a caption alike.
- Experience contributing to brand campaigns and creative direction, and the confidence to brief creatives well.
- Some exposure to PR, events or partnerships — you don't need to have owned all three yet.
- Comfortable working across teams and with external agencies without needing much handholding.
- Genuinely plugged into culture, trends and the creator economy.
- Commercially minded — you understand that brand work should ultimately win business.
