Brand Protection Specialist (SEO)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Brand Protection Specialist (SEO) based in United Kingdom.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in protecting a global digital brand and its intellectual property across search engines and online channels.

You will monitor the web for unauthorized content, investigate potential infringements, and coordinate effective enforcement actions.

The role sits at the intersection of SEO, digital brand protection, copyright, and online compliance.

You will work closely with Legal, Marketing, and SEO stakeholders to identify threats and protect branded search visibility.

The position offers a high degree of ownership, requiring strong research skills and the ability to independently resolve complex online cases.

You will collaborate with external platforms and service providers, including domain registrars, hosting companies, and web-security providers.

This fully remote role is well suited to a detail-oriented, proactive professional who enjoys investigative work in a fast-paced international environment.

Accountabilities

  • Monitor search engines, websites, and other online sources to identify unauthorized use of branded content, intellectual property, or other potentially harmful activity.
  • Investigate suspected copyright and intellectual property infringements, gathering relevant information and evidence to support enforcement actions.
  • Prepare and manage DMCA notices, abuse complaints, takedown requests, counter-notices, and related online enforcement communications.
  • Communicate with domain registrars, hosting providers, web-security services, and other third parties to resolve abuse and infringement cases.
  • Research and evaluate new tools, techniques, and industry practices that can improve online brand protection and enforcement efforts.
  • Collaborate with SEO, Marketing, and Legal teams to identify emerging risks and protect branded search results and online presence.
  • Track ongoing cases and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure that enforcement actions progress effectively.
  • Independently assess individual cases, identify appropriate courses of action, and contribute to the continuous improvement of brand protection processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
