About Our Client
Talent Magpie is delighted to be partnering with a well-established UK distributor of premium consumer brands to recruit a Territory Manager/Brand Representative. Our client has an excellent reputation for bringing internationally recognised brands to market across specialist retail channels and is investing in a newly created position to support the continued growth of an exciting sports nutrition portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, commercially minded field sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and representing a market-leading brand.
The Opportunity
As Brand Sales Representative, you will take ownership of driving distribution, visibility and sales performance across a nationwide territory. Working closely with the Head of Sales and wider commercial team, you'll be responsible for growing brand presence within specialist retail environments including health & fitness, cycling, running, leisure and convenience channels. The role combines new business development, account management, merchandising and in-store activation to maximise long-term growth. This is a field-based role offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and secure new distribution opportunities across specialist retail channels.
- Develop relationships with independent retailers, gyms, health food stores, cycling and running specialists and other high-footfall outlets.
- Grow existing customer accounts and maximise sales opportunities.
- Deliver agreed distribution, sales and ranging objectives.
- Manage product stock effectively while ensuring excellent customer service.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with store managers, buyers and key decision-makers.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and communicate the brand proposition.
- Become a trusted ambassador for the portfolio.
Product Launches & Activation
- Execute successful product launches within retail accounts.
- Support promotional activity, sampling campaigns and launch initiatives.
- Ensure new products achieve strong distribution and visibility from launch.
Merchandising & Retail Excellence
- Maximise product visibility and availability in-store.
- Implement merchandising plans and promotional displays.
- Increase rate of sale through effective field execution.
Reporting & Market Insight
- Monitor sales performance and distribution growth.
- Report on competitor activity and market trends.
- Share customer feedback and commercial insights with internal teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Brand teams to deliver commercial objectives.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, events and trade shows.

About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Previous field sales or territory sales experience.
- Experience within FMCG, sports nutrition, consumer goods, convenience or related sectors would be advantageous.
- A proven ability to develop new business while managing existing customer relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
- A passion for health, fitness or active lifestyles would be beneficial.
