Job Title: Tatcha Brand Specialist (Part- Time/3 days) Responsible to: Head of Retail UK Ireland & Independents Department: UK Retail Business context Tatcha was founded in 2009 by Vicky Tsai who unexpectedly found herself in Kyoto, where she encountered a culture of harmony, beauty, and well-being that healed her from skin to soul. Every Tatcha formula is crafted at the Tatcha Institute in Tokyo, where leading scientists innovate within tradition: balancing timeless Japanese botanicals with proven clinical ingredients to work with skin, not against it. Main Purpose of Job We have an exciting opportunity to hire an ambitious, passionate sales driven Brand Specialist to work on Tatcha across multiple retailers. You will show passion for providing exceptional service and demonstrate excellent product and brand knowledge whilst being self-motivated and able to work as a team player. You will be a role model in delivering the brand customer journey and be able to help train store staff on the unique Tatcha rituals. You will deliver high quality service led customer consultations to maximise sales opportunities and be able to work to ambitious sales targets. The Brand Specialist will also plan and execute in store trainings and events, whilst highlighting stock challenges to your Line Manager and ensure a full sku profile is always available. Main Responsibilities Achieving sales targets whilst developing and embedding a premium customer service and build customer loyalty. Increase counter/Account productivity to meet a min AUS 2.0 & AVS £65. Have a desire to learn fundamental product knowledge including (features, benefits, usage) and application techniques to provide the best results for the customer, convey passion and master brand story telling. Traffic stop and share our brand icons. Maintain the counter/store quality and merchandising including appearance and cleanliness of counter/display, ensure merchandising is to planogram and completing a stock audit for full stock availability and reporting out of stocks with your line manager and in-store teams. Submit daily and weekly reports to your Line Manager. Develop positive relationships with department store floor managers and head office. Maintain a strong knowledge of skincare and beauty trends. Bring new ideas to the business to maximise sales and hit targets. Arrange store activity and dual sites (as agreed with line manager) where possible to drive sales and footfall. Prepare and execute exciting events in store which result in contribution to sales targets. Use technical knowledge and selling skills to influence customers and assist them in choosing the right products to ensure their continued loyalty. Proactively identify challenges with a solution driven attitude. Ensure high merchandising standards are maintained e.g. planograms adhered to, testers available and clean and in date, POS on shelf, pricing tickets in situ. Manage samples effectively when available in store. Essential Skills Location is Bristol, Part time. Proven experience in sales and achieving / exceeding targets. Evidence of growing accounts. Selling experience in beauty / skincare would be advantageous. Strong interpersonal, numeracy and organisational skills. Excellent team player. Proactive and self-motivated Working hours required to meet peak trade requirements so can involve late shifts and weekends (one weekend off per month).
