Brand Partnerships & Sponsorship Manager

Salary: Up to 70K

Location: London based (5 days on site) with regular European travel

Reporting to: Marketing Director, UK & Europe

Start Date: ASAP

Scope: UK & Pan-European

Languages Required: English – Second European language would be very beneficial

Role Overview

Are you an expert in fostering strong relationships with influencers, celebrities and driving performance through strategic marketing partnerships? This role puts you in the lead of the partnerships and branding mission with one of the UK’s own, homegrown manufacturers. This role is best suited to those who thrive on building, maintaining and leveraging strong relationships in the sporting or automotive industries. You will need an existing set of partners to reach out to, a proven ability to form relationships with brands and individuals, and the ability to lead marketing campaigns across a large region. This client offers an opportunity to take the success of an established British brand even further through your direct efforts in relationship building and strategic management.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy, Development and Delivery

  • Define and lead the pan-European partnerships and sponsorship strategy aligned to commercial and brand objectives
  • Identify, evaluate and secure partnerships across sport, technology, e-mobility, gaming and lifestyle sectors
  • Lead negotiations with rights holders, teams, federations and brand partners across the UK and Europe
  • Build and manage a strong partnership portfolio, acting as the central authority to approve and guide all partnerships and sponsorship activity

Activation and Campaign Management

  • Own the full lifecycle of partnership activations from concept through to delivery and evaluation
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across digital, social, PR, experiential and retail channels
  • Ensure all partnership rights are maximised to drive brand visibility, engagement and commercial return

Agency and Stakeholder Management

  • Manage external agencies across creative, experiential, PR and media, ensuring clear briefs, delivery and performance against KPIs
  • Act as the main internal and external contact for all partnership activity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and European markets to deliver integrated and localised campaigns
  • Represent the brand at key partner meetings, events and industry forums

Budget and Performance Management

  • Own and manage the UK and European partnerships budget, including large-scale investment oversight
  • Set KPIs, measure performance and track ROI across all partnerships
  • Report to senior leadership on results, insights and future opportunities, while continuously optimising spend

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Strong background in brand partnerships, sponsorship or sports marketing within automotive, technology or consumer sectors
  • Proven experience managing partnerships at a European or international level
  • Deep understanding of partnership structures, activation and commercial value
  • Experience managing agencies and delivering integrated campaigns
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience managing significant budgets
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience within electric vehicle, mobility or technology sectors
  • Knowledge of European markets and campaign localisation
  • Existing network of partners or rights holders across sport, entertainment or technology
  • Additional language skills are beneficial but not required
