About Mous
We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go-to brand for products that genuinely deliver.
For over 10 years, we’ve pushed product performance to its limits, designing from first principles, validating through real-world testing, and investing millions in R&D. In parallel, we’ve built world-class in-house marketing capabilities, creating highly engaging, performance-led content that proves what our products can do and resonates with a passionate, fast-growing community around the brand.
From throwing phones off dams to launching category-defining products, our ambition is simple: raise the standard of the industry and build one of the most effective consumer brands in the world.
About the Role
We're looking for a Brand Strategist to help shape how Mous is perceived, where it plays culturally, and how we tell our story across content and communications. This role sits at the intersection of brand, content, and comms, turning a clear point of view on Mous' positioning into strategic plans, campaigns, and stories that build brand depth over time. At its core, it's a storytelling role that involves turning strategy into communications that actually land.
You'll work closely with our Creative Strategy, Content, and Growth teams to translate brand strategy into formats and franchises that actually get made, and with our CMO to keep our positioning sharp and consistent across every channel. Where it's useful, you'll also get in front of the camera yourself, being the face of Mous and part of the story.
This is a genuine opportunity to grow with the business. Mous is scaling fast, and brand strategy is becoming a bigger priority as we do, which means real scope to grow your remit, take on more ownership, and shape what this role becomes over time. You'll have direct exposure to our CEO, CMO, and senior leadership, visibility over some of the most important decisions we make about the brand, and a clear path to more senior brand or marketing leadership as you prove yourself in the role.
About You
You think in narratives and systems at the same time: you can articulate what Mous should stand for and how that plays out culturally, and you're just as comfortable turning that into a concrete content plan, campaign brief, or piece of communications copy. You've got a genuine strategic brain, paired with the instincts to know what will actually land with an audience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You're performance-driven by nature and you want to see brand work translate into measurable impact, knowing how to use data to get there. Whether it's audience insight, content performance, or engagement trends, you're comfortable digging into the numbers, drawing out what's actually working, and using that to sharpen strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who's built or contributed meaningfully to a brand strategy before, who's comfortable owning outcomes tied to brand perception rather than just output, and who's excited by the range of the role, from positioning work through to hands-on comms and, at times, being the voice or face of a specific piece of content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and help evolve Mous' brand strategy and positioning — how we show up, where we play culturally, and how our identity develops over time.
- Translate brand strategy into content plans, campaign concepts, and communications that bring it to life across channels.
- Partner with Creative Strategy and Content teams to develop formats and franchises rooted in Mous' brand story, not just performance metrics.
- Draft and shape key brand communications, from campaign narratives to internal and external messaging.
- Represent the brand on camera where relevant — flagship content, brand storytelling, or franchises that benefit from a consistent voice.
- Feed insight from content and audience performance back into brand strategy, closing the loop between what's said and what lands.
How will success be measured?
- A clear, well-articulated brand strategy and positioning that others across the business can align to.
- Content and communications that consistently reflect and strengthen Mous' brand identity.
- Improved brand perception, depth, and cultural relevance over time, alongside supporting content performance.
- Strong working relationships with Creative Strategy, Content, and Growth teams that keep brand and performance intentionally balanced.
- Confident, credible delivery of any on-camera or communications work you lead.
