Role Overview
The Branded Content Lead is responsible for leading Fellas Studios’ branded content output (the formats, podcasts, and campaigns we produce in partnership with major brand partners) while continuing to work across the studio’s core podcast portfolio. This is a senior creative role that pairs strong editorial instinct with the commercial and relationship skills needed to deliver work that satisfies both our audience and the brands who invest in it.
Working across creative, production, social, and commercial teams, the Branded Content Lead owns the day-to-day partnership with key brands: managing the relationship, shaping the creative, and organising the shoots and delivery from concept through to publication. The role blends the responsibilities of a similar level content role with a specialist focus on branded work, ensuring every branded format is high quality, on brief, and brand safe without compromising the trust of the Fellas Studios audience. The Branded Content Lead delivers this with the support of the Head of Production on logistics, resourcing, and production planning.

- Creative Development: Develop branded formats, segments, and creative concepts that balance the partner’s message with strong editorial and entertainment value, pitching and refining ideas that stand out in a crowded content landscape.
- Core Portfolio Contribution: Continue to work across the studio’s normal podcast slate, contributing to format development, editorial quality, and audience growth alongside branded responsibilities.
- Commercial Alignment & Brand Safety: Work closely with the commercial team to ensure branded formats effectively support sponsors and partners while protecting brand safety and maintaining audience trust.
- Cross-Team Alignment: Coordinate closely with production, editing, design, social media, and commercial teams to ensure branded work moves through the content lifecycle smoothly and on schedule.

- Delivery & Project Management: Own the delivery timeline for branded projects, keeping shoots, edits, approvals, and sign-off on track and managing competing priorities across multiple partners and shows.
- Performance Oversight: Monitor the performance of branded content across platforms, feeding insight back to partners and using results to improve future formats and campaigns.
- Experimentation & Innovation: Test new branded formats and creative approaches, evaluating performance to identify scalable, repeatable opportunities for future partnerships.
- Team Leadership & Development: Support the growth of producers and junior team members working on branded content, sharing insight, improving workflows, and fostering collaboration across the studio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
