Working Pattern

Typically 5 days in the office, with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Label Home team and broaden your knowledge! Our Label Home Technologists work hard to ensure the quality and performance of our online and in retail Branded products are always second to none! Pushing the boundaries is what we do here at Next! Working alongside the teams to ensure every aspect of the product is performing to our customer needs.

What You’ll Take On

  • Legal and Safety Compliance: Conduct thorough evaluations of new online brand products to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and safety standards. Managing the onboarding process of new Brands to ensure that Next have carried out their due diligence.
  • Performance Standards: Verify that products meet all required legal criteria.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical assistance to the Product Team, ensuring all technical aspects are addressed.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships within the team to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Review and Support: Regularly assess the ways of working to ensure new Brands are onboarded at speed. Keeping abreast of new legislation that may impact the products we sell.
  • Problem-Solving: Develop and implement solutions to address any challenges.

What You’ll Bring

  • You’ll have a wealth of technical knowledge of Bedding and/or a strong Textiles and Product background, with the ability to communicate it in a clear and compelling way across the business.
  • You’ll also be highly analytical and able to accurately interpret data from across the business.
  • A natural problem solver, you’ll be able to make a logical and inventive contribution to the design and development process, as well as expertly managing the technology critical path for development.
  • You’ll also have a keen eye for detail and be able to ensure the quality and compliance of all products.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring all products meet strict legal and safety standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Providing technical support and guidance to the wider team.
  • Market Awareness: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and consumer preferences.
  • Communication Skills: Clearly conveying information and requirements both within the team and to external partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Effectively identifying and addressing product issues as they arise.

We look after multi category products within textiles. Your team plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of a wide array of products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting new brands through the onboarding process. The collaborative and dynamic nature of your work, combined with a commitment to staying informed about industry changes, ensures that you provide exceptional service and maintain high standards for all products under your care.
