Part-Time Breakfast Chef | EVE, Ember Locke Kensington | £17.50 per hour OTE
Early mornings, big flavour, and a kitchen that sets the tone for the whole day.
We are looking for a Part-Time Breakfast Chef to join the team at EVE, the vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant at Ember Locke Kensington. This is a genuine opportunity to own a service, work with brilliant produce, and be home by early afternoon, all while cooking in one of West London's most design-led dining rooms.
EVE sits within White Rabbit Hospitality, the hotel and restaurant division behind Rusacks St Andrews, The Randolph Oxford, Graduate Cambridge, Ember Locke Kensington, Locke Canary Wharf and Locke Lisbon. We are part of White Rabbit Projects, a hospitality incubator with a simple ambition, to be the world's leading hospitality incubator, and a simple ethos, work hard and be kind.
Our Values, In Every Service
- Hospitality is at our core. You cook for people, not for tickets. You understand that a guest's first meal of the day sets up everything that follows.
- We do the right thing. You hold the line on hygiene, allergens, labelling and food safety, every single shift, without shortcuts.
- We pursue excellence. You care about the temperature of the plate, the set of the egg and the consistency of the last cover as much as the first.
- We are all entrepreneurs. You spot the waste, the better prep method or the specials idea, and you speak up.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
