Breakfast Chef – Kitchen

At Rick Stein Restaurants, we’re all about fresh ingredients, simple cooking done brilliantly, and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Breakfast is the first impression of the day, and we’re looking for a reliable and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast dishes to brand standards
  • Setting up and organising the kitchen for a smooth breakfast service
  • Ensuring all dishes are prepared consistently and presented beautifully
  • Managing breakfast prep, including breads, pastries, and hot dishes
  • Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
  • Managing stock, labelling, rotation, and minimising waste
  • Ensuring efficient service during busy morning periods
  • Supporting the training and development of junior team members
  • Assisting with prep for later services where required

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen (breakfast experience desirable)
  • A passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
  • Ability to work efficiently during early morning shifts
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Calm and reliable under pressure
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the kitchen team
  • Flexibility to support the wider kitchen when needed
