About This Role

Are you passionate about working with children and helping them start their school day in a happy and positive way?

Do you enjoy creating fun, engaging activities and building positive relationships with children?

If the answer is yes, then this exciting opportunity could be the perfect role for you.

We are looking for a friendly, caring and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our team. You will play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can enjoy breakfast, play and socialise before the school day begins.

About The Role

  • Lead activities. This includes setting up and clearing away equipment.
  • Supervise and support with eating breakfast
  • Support children in playing with one another and resolving conflict effectively
  • Work as part of The Oval team.
  • Safeguarding children and young people

You will:

  • Share our commitment to the values and behaviours at The Oval
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be willing to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks
  • Be motivated to work with children and young people
  • Have the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people
  • Foster excellent working relationships with colleagues and families
