About the Role

As a Breakfast Commis Barista at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional breakfast experiences for our guests. Working closely with the Breakfast and Barista teams, you will prepare and serve a range of hot beverages while ensuring efficient, friendly and attentive service throughout the morning.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and coffee who is looking to develop their skills within a world-renowned luxury hotel brand. This is a 30 hours a week role 6am - 12pm 5 days a week.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and serve teas, coffees and speciality beverages to the highest standards
  • Create exceptional breakfast experiences through warm, attentive and personalised service
  • Develop your coffee-making skills with support and guidance from the Barista team and cover the Barista role when required
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of breakfast menus, beverages and guest preferences
  • Ensure all service preparation is completed in advance, including coffee beans, milk, tea garnishes and other supplies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the hotel to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Support and welcome new team members, helping to create a positive and collaborative environment
  • Attend team briefings and contribute ideas to improve service and guest satisfaction
  • Demonstrate a proactive, positive and team-focused attitude every day
  • Embody Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro in every interaction

You have a passion for hospitality and enjoy creating memorable experiences through exceptional service. Previous experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or barista role is beneficial, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

You are energetic, personable and thrive in a fast-paced environment. With a genuine love for working with people and strong attention to detail, you take pride in delivering excellent service and high-quality beverages while working as part of a supportive team.
