Breakfast Commis Chef – Pre-Opening Team (Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch)
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking an experienced Breakfast Commis Chef to join the pre-opening team for their eagerly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for a luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this historic destination.
About the Hotel
Located at the end of The Mall, opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature:
- 100 elegant rooms and suites
- 17,500 sqft of private residences
- Two signature restaurants:
- Coreus by Clare Smyth
- Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud
- A world-class spa, fitness facilities, and grand event spaces (including a ballroom for 320 guests).

Responsibilities
- Supporting the pre-opening team in setting up and maintaining the finest breakfast service for guests
- Assisting with menu preparation, plating, and presentation to uphold Michelin-star-quality standards
- Working efficiently in a high-pressure fast-paced environment
- Maintaining strict hygiene and food safety protocols
- Contributing to training and eventual smooth operation of all pre-opening processes
- Collaborating with the culinary team and F&B departments to excel in guest service
Requirements
We’re looking for headed hospitality professionals with:
- Experience in luxury hotel kitchens (preferably Five-Star)
- Strong commitment to exceptional guest service
- Ability to work dynamically in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Open team player attitude with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of hotel standards and protocols
