Breakfast Supervisor

Moorland Hotel - Haytor

7am until 3pm /4pm 5 days a week. (Willing to explore set shift patterns) Includes Saturdays & Sundays as Prime shifts.

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and energetic Breakfast Supervisor to join our team.

Breakfast is one of the most important parts of our guests’ stay, and we’re looking for someone who can make sure every guest receives a warm welcome, great service and a delicious start to their day.

As Breakfast Supervisor, you’ll take responsibility for the smooth running of the breakfast service, supporting and motivating the team while ensuring our high standards of hospitality, food quality and cleanliness are consistently maintained.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervising the breakfast team and leading by example throughout service
  • Welcoming guests with a warm, friendly and professional approach
  • Ensuring breakfast service runs smoothly, efficiently and to a consistently high standard
  • Supporting with food preparation, presentation and replenishment
  • Making sure tables, service areas and the restaurant are kept clean, tidy and welcoming
  • Monitoring food levels and communicating with the kitchen team to ensure guests have everything they need
  • Handling guest requests and resolving any issues quickly and professionally
  • Supporting with opening and closing procedures
  • Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety and company standards are followed at all times
  • Training and supporting new team members
  • Helping create a positive, supportive and enjoyable working environment

You’ll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in a hospitality, restaurant or hotel environment
  • Experience supervising or leading a team, or the ambition to take the next step in your hospitality career
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • A team-focused approach
  • An understanding of food hygiene and health & safety
  • The flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and bank holidays
