Contract: Part-time, Term Time Only

About The Role
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Support Worker to join our Newlands Breakfast Club team.
This rewarding role involves helping to provide a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children at the start of each school day. Working alongside experienced Early Years professionals, you will support children as they enjoy a healthy breakfast, take part in stimulating play activities, and prepare for a positive day ahead.
You will play an important role in ensuring children feel settled, supported and ready to learn, helping to create the best possible start to their day. The role also includes escorting pupils safely to the Primary School at the end of the breakfast club session.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, caring and welcoming environment for children each morning.
- Prepare and serve healthy breakfast choices.
- Support children's play, learning and social interactions.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with Early Years colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure the safety, welfare and happiness of all children in your care.
- Escort pupils safely to the Primary School at the end of the session.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and stimulating environment.

About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
- Be caring, patient and approachable.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be reliable, organised and able to work independently when required.
- Be committed to supporting children's development, wellbeing and learning.
- Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
