An Exciting Opportunity for a Breast Screening Programme Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a breast screening programme manager covering the South East London Breast Screening Programme (SELBSP). This role is based at Kings College Hospital.
About the Role
The South East London Breast Screening Programme covers six South East London Clinical Commissioning Groups: Lambeth, Southwark & Lewisham, Bromley, Bexley, and Greenwich. The programme is responsible to the National Breast Screening Programme and is committed to the protocols and national standards therein, and is committed to inviting well women between the ages of 50-70 for breast mammography every three years.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the delivery and operation of the South East London Breast Screening department. In conjunction with the clinical director, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the service in line with the National Screening Programme along with relevant local and national initiatives.

- Be a key member of the breast radiology and breast screening management team.
- Lead projects to improve service delivery and meet commissioning requirements in key areas.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills.
- Deputise for the service manager-breast radiology and breast screening as required.
