Role Description
The Brewery Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Truro, responsible for overseeing all aspects of day-to-day brewery operations. This includes planning and managing the brewing schedule, supervising production staff, and ensuring beers are produced consistently to quality and safety standards. The role involves monitoring raw materials and inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining brewing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime. The Brewery Production Manager will implement and improve production processes, keep accurate records, and collaborate with leadership on capacity planning, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position also requires active engagement in health and safety practices, compliance with relevant regulations, and clear communication with internal teams.

- Strong brewery production experience, including managing brewing processes, fermentation, packaging, and quality control.
- Knowledge of food and beverage safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in health and safety.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising and developing production teams in a manufacturing or brewery environment.
- Solid organizational and planning skills, including scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation.
- Ability to analyze production data, troubleshoot process issues, and implement improvements for efficiency and consistency.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Relevant technical or brewing qualification (e.g., brewing science, food technology, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working on-site in a hands-on production environment and meeting physical requirements typical of brewery operations.
- Flexible shifts, some evenings and weekends required depending on trade.
