ADDITIONAL HOLIDAY DAYS
For every full year completed up to your 5th year with us we add on one additional day’s leave above and beyond your initial entitlement. You therefore get an extra full week off at 5 years every single year onward to rest up.

About The Role

Lead and coordinate the shift team's daily operations, ensuring that all tasks and activities are completed to the highest BrewDog standards of safety, quality and productivity and deliver required production targets. Work together with the other Brewing Shift leaders to collectively, proactively and consistently coach and develop their teams and drive operational excellence across all shifts.
- Provide visible and effective leadership for their teams
- Champion the mantra Safety, People, Quality and Production, ensuring decisions are prioritised in that order
- Ensure their shift:
- Applies all safety, health and Environmental standards
- Achieves its Customer, Quality and Service targets
- Achieves their Operation Efficiency targets
- Be the Management point of contact for the site outside of normal day hours and in absence of the Head of Brewing
- Apply the proper escalation process (Daily Control System) in case of deviations
About You
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field e.g. brewing or commitment to achieving this within role
- Experience as a team coach or other leadership roles within BrewDog
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop others within a manufacturing setting through experience or competency assessment
- Fluent in business English
- Experience as a team coach or other leadership roles within BrewDog
- Strategic awareness and champions our vision. Encourages and supports forward thinking in pursuit of perfection
- Regularly review the production schedule and react with agility to the supply plan demands
- Has the required self-awareness and insight into the team to adapt their teaching and management style to get the best from each individual
- Can appropriately predict harmful issues and can mitigate disruption to operations
- Supports their teammates and responds appropriately to change, supporting colleagues to understand the changes and why they have been introduced
- Mediating and escalating concerns when required.
- Excellent coaching and leadership skills with ability to affect change
- Flexible proactive approach to work duties to meet ever changing demands of operational environment
- Strong Communication skills (written and verbal) to deliver and receive clear messages and information effectively at all levels and between different functions
- Excellent teamworking ethic and ability to positively resolve potential conflicts quickly and effectively
