Self-Employed Specialist Finance Broker (Bridging & Development Finance)

About the Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Self-Employed Specialist Finance Broker to join a growing, relationship-led specialist finance business.
The business specialises in commercial development finance and bridging finance, working on transactions typically ranging from £1m to £15m, with an average deal size of approximately £4m.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established broker who is looking for greater autonomy, strong earning potential and access to quality deal flow, whilst having the support of an established platform behind them.
The Role:
As a Specialist Finance Broker, you will be responsible for developing and managing your own client relationships, sourcing new opportunities and structuring suitable finance solutions across bridging and development finance.
You will have the opportunity to self-generate business while also benefiting from qualified inbound leads and significant deal flow generated through the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and develop new specialist finance opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, developers, introducers and professional partners.
- Structure and present suitable bridging and development finance solutions.
- Manage transactions throughout the lending process, from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Work closely with lenders and internal support teams to ensure efficient deal execution.
- Develop your own network of clients and introducers.
- Maximise opportunities generated through inbound leads and existing business relationships.
- Maintain accurate records and manage your pipeline through the internal CRM.
- Attend industry networking events and develop relationships within the property finance market.
- Consistently deliver against personal revenue and business development objectives.

About You:
The ideal candidate will be an established Specialist Finance Broker with a strong track record within bridging and/or development finance.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience originating specialist finance transactions
- Strong knowledge of bridging and/or development finance.
- An established network of clients, introducers and professional contacts.
- The ability to self-generate new business.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of complex property finance transactions.
- A motivated, entrepreneurial approach.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline.
