Role: Bridging Finance Paralegal

Location: London

Proper Recruitment are working with an established legal firm who are looking for a Bridging Finance Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is capable of progressing transactions from start to completion and is looking to develop their legal career, with the opportunity to progress towards a Training Contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bridging finance matters throughout the transaction process
  • Draft and review loan agreements, debentures, personal guarantees and security documentation
  • Review titles, searches and valuations in line with lender requirements
  • Liaise with Underwriters to satisfy pre-loan conditions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders and other relevant parties
  • Identify associated risks and approach transactions from both a commercial and risk-conscious perspective
  • Maintain excellent communication and visibility across your caseload
  • Support and contribute towards business development activity

Requirements:

  • Graduated with a 2:1 or First Class Honours
  • Capable of progressing a transaction from start to completion
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
  • An interest in business development and progressing within the firm

Salary:

£26,000 – £32,000 DOE
