Job Description
ROLE MISSION
The Head Tailor, based in London and reporting to the Store Manager, is responsible for overseeing the Tailor Room and delivering the highest standards of garment alteration and fitting, while supporting Sales Advisors and Bespoke Ambassadors with sartorial expertise to elevate the client experience.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
- Partner with Store Management, Bespoke Ambassadors, and relevant stakeholders to manage the Tailor Room team and coordinate its daily and weekly workflow.
- Communicate timelines clearly and verify that commitments made to clients are achievable and delivered to the expected standard.
- Oversee the organization of the Tailor Room, including ticketing, agenda management, and the shipping log.
- Ensure the Tailor Room is fully operational by coordinating machine maintenance and the ordering of working tools and supplies with the Operations Team and Store Management.
- Ensure the highest level of quality control on altered garments before delivery to clients, including garments handled by external tailors, ironing, and hanging.
- Deliver the Brioni Customer Experience when interacting with clients both in store and during home services.
- Lead measurements and fittings across Maestria and Ready-to-Wear, providing expert sartorial guidance throughout the client journey.
- Participate in client appointments to support the highest standards of fitting, styling, and service, ensuring clear communication throughout the fitting process.
- Organize and conduct training for Sales Advisors and Bespoke Ambassadors on alterations, pinning, fabrics, timing, and related sartorial topics.

WHO YOU ARE
- Extensive hands-on tailoring experience, with strong technical expertise in alterations, fittings, and garment construction.
- Strong background in men's suiting; experience with high-end sartorial products is preferred.
- Relevant experience in a comparable client-facing tailoring role; experience in luxury retail is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.
- Strong ability to assess fit, visualize the client's proportions, and propose alterations in line with Company guidelines.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to coordinate effectively with Store Management, Sales Advisors, Bespoke Ambassadors, and tailoring teams.
- Exceptional client service orientation, with a strong focus on client experience and loyalty.
- Adaptability, curiosity, and strong listening skills.
- High level of precision, organization, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
