In this role, you’ll play a key part in transforming traditional broadcast technology into modern, cloud-based platforms. Your work will directly support 24/7 live audio services across multiple countries.

- Design and build resilient, scalable infrastructure
- Shape a platform enabling innovation in broadcast, digital, and future AI-driven initiatives
- Take real ownership, contribute ideas, and make a visible impact during a meaningful transformation
Your Role
As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll:
- Design and build cloud-based broadcast platforms for live audio broadcasting using AWS
- Create resilient, highly available systems for 24/7 operations
- Develop pipelines for audio ingestion, processing, and distribution
- Lead hands-on delivery using infrastructure-as-code and automation
- Support the migration of broadcast systems from on-premise to cloud
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams across multiple markets
- Integrate third-party tools and vendor solutions into the platform
- Ensure platforms are scalable, reusable, and cost-efficient
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practice
- Continuously improve platform performance, resilience, and user experience

Responsibilities

Technical Development & Architecture
- Design and deliver AWS-based cloud platforms for live audio broadcasting
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of systems
- Optimise audio processing pipelines for efficiency and performance

Cloud & Infrastructure
- Lead cloud migrations while maintaining service continuity
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation workflows
- Build serverless architectures and distributed systems where beneficial

Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with product, marketing, and broadcast teams across Europe
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and SaaS solutions into the platform
- Ensure cross-market consistency while accommodating regional needs

Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and optimise platform performance and cost efficiency
- Lead best practice documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Requirements
Technical Skills
Experience with:
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) – including computing, storage, networking, and security services
- Broadcast engineering, live audio, or equivalent environments
- Cloud migrations – from on-premise to cloud architectures
- Distributed systems and platform scalability principles
- Containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and modern DevOps practices
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Media/Audio Processing pipelines (helpful but not essential)
Soft Skills
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Confidence in a hands-on, delivery-focused role
- Experience with cross-functional teams is a plus
- Knowledge of multi-region or international environments (advantageous)
