Your Role

You will design, build and operate cloud-based broadcast platforms, combining hands-on engineering with architectural thinking to deliver reliable and scalable audio services.

  • Design and build cloud-based platforms for live audio broadcasting using AWS
  • Create resilient, highly available systems that support 24/7 operations
  • Develop pipelines for audio ingestion, processing and distribution
  • Lead hands-on delivery using infrastructure-as-code and automation
  • Support the migration of broadcast systems from on-premise to cloud
  • Collaborate with engineering, product and business teams across multiple markets
  • Integrate third-party tools and vendor solutions into the platform
  • Ensure platforms are scalable, reusable and cost-efficient
  • Contribute to documentation, standards and best practice
  • Continuously improve platform performance, resilience and user experience.

The Skills You Will Bring

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Background in broadcast engineering, live audio or similar environments
  • Experience designing or supporting cloud migrations
  • Understanding of distributed systems and platform scalability
  • Familiarity with containerisation and modern DevOps practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Confidence working in a hands-on, delivery-focused role
  • Experience in media or broadcasting (helpful but not essential)
  • Exposure to international or multi-region environments (helpful).

Working Pattern & Location

This role is based in London or Manchester with hybrid working. Occasional travel across Europe may be required.
