Join our church media team in Thamesmead and operate the main media PC during Sunday services, managing OBS, TikTok LIVE Studio, Zoom, and EasyWorship. Help us deliver reliable livestreams and clear on-screen presentation content.
What difference will you make?
Livestreaming and digital presentation are now an important part of how Royal Priesthood Pentecostal Church (UK) communicates with both our physical congregation and our online audience.
At present, several computer-based responsibilities have to be managed by a small technical team. Having a dedicated Broadcast & Presentation Operator would allow one skilled person to concentrate specifically on the main media computer while other team members focus on sound, cameras, and video switching.
This would help us
- Improve the reliability and quality of our livestreams.
- Present lyrics, scriptures, and sermon content more accurately.
- Reduce pressure on our existing technical team.
- Improve the experience of people attending services physically.
- Reach people who are unable to attend in person.
- Make better use of the professional media equipment and software already available to the church.
- Communicate our wider charitable and community activities more effectively online.
The volunteer would become an important part of our Sunday production team and make an immediate practical contribution to the quality and consistency of our services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The volunteer will be responsible for
- Operating OBS Studio during live services.
- Managing and monitoring our church livestream.
- Operating TikTok LIVE Studio where required.
- Managing Zoom during services and online participation where required.
- Operating EasyWorship for song lyrics, Bible verses, sermon points, announcements, and other presentation content.
- Starting and monitoring livestreams and recordings.
- Switching between prepared OBS scenes and layouts.
- Monitoring video and audio feeds reaching the computer.
- Displaying presentation content accurately and at the correct time.

Because we operate from a hired school venue, our AV and media equipment must also be set up before services. We would therefore, if possible, like someone who can also attend on Saturday afternoons, usually from approximately 2:00–3:00 PM onwards, to assist with setup, connection, and testing when available.
