URGENT

Broadcast Systems Engineer (IP / ST 2110)

Location: Onsite, London (5 days a week)

Type: Contract - initial 3 months

Start Date: URGENT / ASAP

We're looking for a Broadcast Systems Engineer to join a leading broadcast systems integrator, supporting a high-profile client.

This is a hands-on, on-site position focused on commissioning and stabilising IP-based broadcast infrastructure, built on SMPTE ST 2110, and supporting live productions and outside broadcast operations.

You'll play a central role in onboarding and troubleshooting ST 2110 devices, configuring video and audio over IP systems, and making sure everything performs reliably.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience commissioning broadcast systems in live production, studio, venue, or OB environments.
  • Hands-on experience onboarding and troubleshooting SMPTE ST 2110 devices on a media network.
  • Strong understanding of PTP (SMPTE ST 2059), multicast, IGMP, and media network fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of NMOS (IS-04 and IS-05) for device discovery and connection management.
  • Experience with video over IP, audio over IP (Dante, AES67, ST 2110-30), or both.
  • Experience with orchestration systems (such as Lawo VSM, Grass Valley Orbit, or Evertz MAGNUM), media network switches (Arista or Cisco), ST 2022-7 redundancy would be desirable.
