Broker – North American & International Property
City of London | Hybrid | Permanent |
The opportunity
IDEX are partnering with an independent, specialty Lloyd's broker, supporting the growth of a newly launched Property division. This is a chance to get in at the ground floor and help shape a new property book from day one.
The division is led by a well-known property leader with a strong record in large and complex risks. As such, this role will be instrumental in facilitating the placement and servicing of unique and varied risks emanating from the US.
The business is investing for the long term, and this is an opportunity to grow and mature as the division does. Meaning that for the right individual, there is real scope for this role to evolve and be tailored into something that plays to your strengths.
What you'll be doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
