About Wayflyer

Today's small businesses need a capital provider that keeps pace with their growth ambitions. Traditional financing options are slow, cumbersome and often out of reach. That's why we built Wayflyer.

Our technology allows us to assess businesses in minutes, generate financing offers that reflect their growth potential and send funds in as little as 24 hours. To date, we've deployed over $6bn to thousands of businesses worldwide, backed by Tier 1 banks like J.P. Morgan.

You'll be collaborating with ambitious colleagues from around the world. We have offices in Dublin, London, New York, Charlotte, Berlin and Sydney.

The Challenge

The Broker Channel is Wayflyer's fastest-growing route to market, and growth like that doesn't manage itself. We need someone who can scale a panel of brokers into a genuine growth engine, turning relationships and referral volume into closed deals. This isn't a maintenance role. It's a build role.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Grow and manage our broker panel, bringing on new brokers and training them to properly understand and sell our products
  • Build real relationships with existing brokers, the kind that make them think of you first when a deal comes up
  • Review referrals and provide sense checks and indicative offers, reading business financials well enough to spot what matters
  • Own your portfolio end to end, converting referral volume into funded deals, not just noise in the pipeline
  • Represent Wayflyer at industry events and in broker networks, building our name as much as your own

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What This Role Could Turn Into

Brokers are a key focus area for the business, so whoever takes this on gets a real say in shaping it, not just executing someone else's plan. From here, that can mean leading a regional broker team as we expand into new regions, or stepping into a wider commercial partnerships role across the business.

Who Thrives Here

Someone who treats brokers as partners, not leads, and understands that a broker's reputation is on the line every time they refer you a deal. You're commercially sharp, comfortable with numbers, and genuinely curious about the businesses behind the applications, not just the credit markers. You don't wait for a case to be handed to you in a tidy format. You chase it down, sense-check it, and move.

We Hire for Range

We're looking for someone who's spent at least 2 years in business lending, ideally in fintech, and at least 2 years working directly with commercial finance brokers, with a real network to show for it. You'll have at least a year analysing business financials at a working level, and Hubspot experience is a bonus. More important than the years is the trajectory: have you built something, grown a book, or turned relationships into revenue? We'll also consider exceptional candidates from adjacent areas of business finance who don't tick every box.
