Broker Claims Relationship Lead – South West & Wales

Salary between £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on skills and experience) Closing date: September 22nd, 2026.

We are looking for a Broker Claims Relationship Lead who will be responsible for looking after our broker partners in the South West & Wales region in conjunction with our trading and distribution colleagues for the region. We have a ‘one face to market’ approach in each region, which is a key priority for this role.

A bit about the job:

The Broker Claims Relationship Lead will work within the South West & Wales region of brokers to support Aviva clients in the Aviva Claims Proposition. Building strong internal and external relationships for the benefit of the client and Aviva Commercial business is a key aspect of this role, you would be working closely with the regional distribution team, all product line operational claims teams, underwriting and senior Aviva stakeholders.

Interpreting claims data in order to drive improvements with overall claims trending is an important part of the role. You will act as a role model, coaching and mentoring colleagues where appropriate, actively pursuing opportunities to improve processes and procedures to assist the Commercial business.

The successful candidate will support projects aimed at system or process improvement at a local or national level in order to drive continuous improvement of service and engage others through Aviva Brand Values and standards as well as the development, implementation and on-going management of market leading sourcing strategies to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience of working with commercial claims, ideally at leader level, understanding your clients business and managing long term relationships with brokers
  • Successful participation in new business propositions
  • Identifying claims trends and working with clients and brokers to deliver improved claims experiences
  • Strong senior stakeholder management background
  • ACII certificate or relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
