About The Role

Ansvar, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Broker Development Executive to join our Brighton office.

As a Broker Development Executive at Ansvar, you'll play a key role in driving profitable growth by developing and strengthening relationships with a panel of brokers. You'll work closely with Key Account Managers to support the management and development of strategic broker accounts, helping to deliver account plans, maximise commercial opportunities and strengthen key partnerships. Working closely with brokers, underwriters and sales colleagues, you'll identify new business opportunities, maximise retention and deliver exceptional service that supports long-term success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of broker relationships, building strong partnerships that deliver profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Drive new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, pipeline management and targeted broker engagement.
  • Identify, qualify and refer high-quality opportunities to the wider sales team, supporting growth across the business.
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused sales experience, helping to win, retain and grow business within Ansvar's risk appetite.
  • Take ownership of renewal activity for your broker panel, achieving retention, growth and profitability targets.
  • Support Key Account Managers in the management and development of larger broker accounts, helping to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Build a strong understanding of broker businesses and key decision-makers, identifying opportunities to promote solutions from Ansvar, Ecclesiastical and the wider Benefact Group.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting and support teams to deliver exceptional service, effective risk selection and profitable outcomes for brokers and customers.

What You'll Need To Have

  • Market, Industry and Company knowledge
  • Appropriate IT skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of effective stakeholder management within a commercial environment

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Qualified Dip CII or commitment to achieve within an agreed timescale
  • Experience of broker relationship management within Sales or Underwriting
